Combining stirring performances with groundbreaking scholarship, award-winning ensemble La Donna Musicale presents a concert that depicts a range of emotions from jealousy, anger and melancholy, to lust, ecstasy and joy of human and heavenly love. Music by Barbara Strozzi, Maria Xaviera Peruchona, Isabella Leonarda, Camilla de Rossi and Julie Pinel.

Radiant and energetic, the voices and instruments of La Donna bring to life music which has been neglected by centuries, created by women of the past.
